Shooting on film offers a different kind of experience — one that rewards patience, attention, and craftsmanship. Whether you’re using 35mm rolls, or disposable cameras, we offer professional film development services to bring your images to life.
We handle both color and black & white (C-41) processing. Film is developed in-house at our own facilities, which means faster turnaround and consistent quality. After development, you can choose to receive digital scans, paper prints, or both.
You can bring your film to any of our store locations or send it by mail. If you’re not sure what type of film you have, or whether it’s still usable, our staff is happy to help.
We serve customers in Helsinki, Espoo, and Vantaa, but you can use our services from anywhere in Finland via post.
You can easily order your film development from one of our stores in Redi, Tripla, Citycenter, Asematunneli, Iso Omena, Forum or Jumbo. We currently develop film at our Asematunneli location on weekdays between 10-18 and in Tripla from Monday through Sunday.

We currently only develop film rolls marked with C-41. Traditional black-and-white development and E6 slide films cannot be processed through us. We also only handle film up to 35mm in size—larger 120 film rolls are not supported.
The most common type of film roll. The key marking to look for is C-41—this indicates the development process used. If the film doesn't have this marking, we won’t be able to develop it.
Black-and-white film developed using the C-41 process has become increasingly popular. It looks just like regular color film, but is labeled as black-and-white. However, if the film only says "black-and-white" and doesn’t mention C-41, we can’t develop it. You can still bring us an already developed film roll, and we’ll make prints from the negatives.
A slightly rarer type of film that was used in small "pocket" cameras. We can develop this film, but only if it’s marked with C-41.
Slightly larger than 110 film. It's rarely seen these days, but we can develop it if you happen to find one tucked away at home.
APS film was intended to replace traditional 35mm film. It was more automated, offered more features, and was easier to develop. However, it arrived a bit too late—35mm film had already become so dominant that APS never managed to replace it. Today, APS is very rare, but we can still develop it. Just note that with specialty films like this, turnaround time may be slightly longer.
Right now, digitizing photos is a common trend. However, we believe that printed photos create a unique feeling that digital images simply can’t match. Still, the option is there—and below, we’ll walk you through the available choices.
We print photos on Fujifilm Lustre paper. Lustre differs slightly from traditional matte and glossy finishes—but not in a bad way. It’s often described as a middle ground between matte and glossy, with a bit more shine than matte. We can print photos in any size, but standard sizes are processed faster.
The image shows some of the differences between paper types. Brightness and contrast are always adjusted individually for each photo.
A very popular option where your photos are digitized and easily transferred to your computer—and straight to social media if you like. We normally digitize images as JPG files at 72 dpi resolution. These are ideal for digital use and small-scale printing. The standard resolution is 1818 x 1228 px, with file sizes between 1–2.5 MB.
Images can be scanned to a USB stick or sent via email using the WeTransfer service.
If you want higher-resolution files, that’s also possible. Just let us know in advance. The high-res version is also 72 dpi, but at 5444 x 3649 px, with file sizes between 10–18 MB.
Keep in mind: higher-resolution scans also make any imperfections in the film more noticeable.
If you want to scan the negatives yourself or simply don’t need printed photos, film development only is also an option. Let us know if you want the film cut into specific lengths or if it’s fine to return it as a full roll.
We also accept film rolls by mail. Just send us the film along with instructions on what you’d like us to do with your photos. You can choose from the following options:
Film development only
Film development + prints (10×15, 15×20, 20×30, or 30×45). Do you want duplicate prints?
Film development + prints + digital scans
Film development + digital scans only
Include your return address and contact information in the package. We develop films the same day they arrive. Delivery by post usually takes 1–5 business days, depending on your location.
